According to ITA Sport Press, Manchester United are hoping to sign Sevilla star Ever Banega on a free transfer; whilst Eurosport report that Oscar has insisted he isn’t looking to leave Chelsea.

The Argentina international was on United’s radar during the Sir Alex Ferguson days but fell from the limelight after bizarrely running over his own leg in 2012, ensuing several months on the sidelines and a loan move to Newell’s Old Boys to revive his career.

But the former Valencia man signed for Sevilla in summer 2014 and has largely impressed, this season bagging three goals and two assists in twelve La Liga starts. With his Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan contract set to expire at the end of the season, the 27-year-old’s services are up for grabs on a free transfer and United are one of the clubs interested.

According to Ita Sport Press, the Red Devils are ready to offer him a €4.5million contract, but face competition from Serie A outfit Inter Milan.

Meanwhile, EuroSport report that Chelsea midfielder Oscar has insisted he’s not looking to leave Stamford Bridge any time soon. The Brazil international was linked with a £57million move to Jiangsu Suning earlier this month but remains adamant he’s committed to staying in west London.

The 24-year-old told Chelsea TV; “I want to stay here for a long time. I want to win more games, more trophies, because I love Chelsea, I love the fans. I like the city, my family like it here. I don’t have (a reason to) change the club. Everyone likes me here and I’m very happy here.”
