According to reports from The Express, Chelsea have opened talks with Ajax over the potential transfer of long-term Arsenal target Riechedly Bazoer.
The Eredivisie outfit are famed for their phenomenal track record of developing young talent and the 19-year-old is one of their latest to impact at first-team level, bagging four goals and three assists in 20 Eredivisie outings this season.

A host of major European clubs were linked with the midfielder towards the end of 2015, includingArsenal, Barcelona and Bayern Munich. In fact, Bazoer has been a fixture on the Gunners’ radar for well over three years according to reports from October.
But according to The Express, who cite reports from Spanish publication Sport, Chelsea are now the favourites in the race to sign the Netherlands international – who was issued his first senior cap by Oranje gaffer Danny Blind in October.
They claim negotiations over a summer move to Stamford Bridge have already begun and although Ajax are reluctant to see the 6-foot centre-mid leave, they’ll struggle to turn down offers around the €20million mark.
