According to Sky Sports, Ezequiel Lavezzi’s agent was in London today to hold talks with Chelsea; whilst The Daily Star report that Liverpool have seen a £10.8million bid rejected for Barcelona’s Marc-Andre Ter Stegen.

The Argentina international, who started for his country in last summer’s World Cup final against Germany, has bagged 34 goals in 161 appearances for the Parisians, helping fire them to three consecutive Ligue 1 titles.

But the winger-forward has steadily slid down the pecking order over the last 18 months, receiving just three league starts from Laurent Blanc this term, and agent Alejandro Mazzoni claimed last week that he’d begun talks over a move to Chelsea.

Citing Sky Italia, Sky Sports claim the 30-year-old’s agent was spotted in London today – the theory being that he met up with representatives from the west London club. However, it is not known whether Lavezzi would move to the Premier League this month or when his contract expires at the end of the season.

Meanwhile, The Daily Star – who cite Spanish publication Don Balon – report that Liverpool have seen a £10.8million bid rejected for Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre Ter Stegen, despite tying current No.1 Simon Mignolet down to a five-year contract earlier this week.

The 23-year-old joined the La Liga giants in summer 2014 following three impressive campaigns with Borussia Monchengladbach but is reportedly frustrated at the Nou Camp, having been reserved almost exclusively for cup competitions by manager Luis Enrique.

However, if Liverpool wish to sign the German international, they’ll reportedly have to cough up £23million – more than double Barcelona’s original £9.7million investment.
