According to reports from The Guardian, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur target Michy Batshuayi has signed a contract extension with Marseille.
The Belgium international attracted Premier League interest last summer following a decent debut campaign at Stade Velodrome and has continued to impress this year, with eleven goals and five assists in 19 Ligue 1 appearances.

The Guardian document interest from Crystal Palace, Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur, whilst Mirror Football linked Premier League table-toppers Arsenal earlier this week and Chelsea have also been mentioned as potential suitors – albeit somewhat less convincingly.
But it was revealed yesterday that the 22-year-old was on the verge of signing a contract extension with Marseille, effectively ruling out any chance of the £35million-rated striker moving to England during the January transfer window, and The Guardian claim he’s now put pen to paper.
Batshuayi’s new L’OM contract expires in 2020, but The Guardian speculate his Premier League suitors are likely to revive their interest next summer.
