Jose Mourinho (11)According to reports from talkSPORT, Marseille president Vincente Labrune has slapped Arsenal and Chelsea strike target Michy Batshuayi with a £35million price tag.

The 21-year-old was heavily linked with a Premier League move during the summer transfer window and his superlative form since, claiming eight goals and three assists in 13 Ligue 1 appearances, has continued to generate interest from the English top flight.

Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle are all in the running to sign the Belgium international in January, according to the tabloids, whilst talkSPORT put Premier League champions Chelsea in the mix too.

However, it appears any interested suitor will have to pay a premium to sign the 5 foot 11 striker in the coming transfer window. After allegedly rejecting a £22million bid during the summer, Marseille president Vincente Labrune has revealed his valuation of Batshuayi is around €50million(£35million).

The 44-year-old, who has resided over Stade Velodrome since 2008, told french publication La Derniere Heure; “There is not a single top 15 world club that is not interested in Batshuayi. He is one of the most wanted players on the market. There were a lot of offers for him this summer, but he did not want to leave. He is proving himself on the pitch. And if clubs want him then they are going to have to pay up. Around €50m!”
