According to reports from talkSPORT this afternoon, Arsenal and Chelsea have been put on ‘red alert’ by Jese’s agent telling Real Madrid to use or lose the strike starlet.

The 22 year-old forward, capable of playing on either flank or as a front-man made his debut for Los Blancos in 2011 and has since produced a decent return of twelve goals in 59 appearances.

He was making significant progress under former Bernabeu boss Carlo Ancelotti until tearing an anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee in March 2014, ruling him out of action until December and limiting him to substitute appearances for the majority of last season.

The Spain U21, who boasts 16 goals and 36 caps for his country across the youth levels, is keen to get his development on track but has seen just 134 minutes’ worth of La Liga action this season.

As quoted by talkSPORT, that situation lead agent Giles Carvajal to tell Spanish news outlet Marca earlier today; “He needs to play more, that’s the best way to keep his spirits up. The club will have to make a decision. He’s training well, he’s strong and has to seize the opportunity when it comes.”

The sports radio station claim Carvajal’s comments have put long-term admirers Arsenal and Chelsea on ‘red alert’.
