According to reports from The Express yesterday evening, Manchester United could face competition from Liverpool and Real Madrid in the race to sign Bayern Munich forward Thomas Muller.
The 25 year-old is one of the most formidable and complete attacking threats in world football, famed for his industry, versatility and consistent supply of goals. He’s amassed 121 goals in 304 appearances since his Bavarians debut in 2008.

The German international has also played a pivotal role in his country’s escapades at the last two World Cups, picking up the Golden Boot in 2010 and netting five times as Die Mannschaft lifted the international title in Brazil last summer.
Reports earlier this month revealed Red Devils manager Louis van Gaal – who made Muller a Bayern mainstay during his spell as Allianz Arena boss – is willing to spend as much as £70million to bring the 6 foot 1 attacker to Old Trafford this summer.
But according to The Express, who cite The Metro and German publication Bild, Liverpool and Real Madrid are ready to challenge United for Muller’s signature, should be become available this summer.
However, Bayern chief executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has insisted Muller won’t be sold this summer. He said; “Thomas is unsellable. I have a feeling that he’ll never leave Bayern Munich. When Thomas retires at some point, we hope that we can keep him at the club, if he wants.”
Haha I think there’s a bigger chance of Carlton Cole going to Liverpool than Thomas Müller going to Liverpool.

Real Madrid are crap, mufc forever, dani alves and Sergio Ramos both tried to shaft us. But good luck to real and Ramos. Rafa Benitez is couldn’t manage a restaurant. That’s why he the fat waiter. It’s frustrating times for United fans. We’re all waiting on possibly a goal keeper, a true leader of a centre half, maybe another winger if that mercenary angel di Maria leaves. I still don’t think we have caught up with Chelsea and possibly city or arsenal. But we’re getting closer. Just wish we had everyone in that we want and those out that are leaving. Stability is the key. There’s a new era goin on at United but they need to get more world class players in if we want to challenge Chelsea never mind bar a who set the standard. Real Madrid will win nothing and Rafa will be sacked at end of season. Guaranteed, United could do with another striker too. Rooney can’t do it all on his own, but hopefully we get some more players in before window closes. Why would the top top players not want to come to United. We are a wonderful club with the best fans in world. We have bossed the premier league since it began but like I said we need top top quality lads in to get us back to where we belong.
