Javier Hernandez scored the winning goal to take Real Madrid through to the Champions League’s semi-finals on Wednesday evening, but his future beyond the summer remains uncertain.
He’s currently at the Bernabeu on a season-long loan from Manchester United and as This Is Futbol revealed earlier this month, Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti is yet to decide whether he’ll make the move permanent.
With just a year remaining on the Mexico international’s United contract however, the Red Devils are expected to sell one way or another this summer.
And according to reports from The Gloucester Citizen this morning, West Ham have emerged as potential suitors for the 26 year-old.
Despite his struggles over the last few seasons, Chicarito boasts three consecutive campaigns of reaching double figures in the Premier League, bringing his United total to 59 goals in 154 appearances, despite featuring predominantly from the bench.
According to The Gloucester Citizen, the Red Devils will sell for around £7million this summer. Long-term interest from Liverpool, however, as reported by This Is Futbol earlier this month, could complicate any potential deal.
