In easily the pick of the Premier League’s weekend action, Man United play hosts to noisy neighbours Man City in the hotly anticipated Manchester derby.
And the visitors may be the reigning Premier League champions but few view them as the favourites for this one; United boast the strongest record against the division’s top four this term, whilst the Citizens find themselves in on-the-road free fall, losing their last three consecutive away fixtures to Liverpool, Burnley and Crystal Palace.
Indeed, the pressure is certainly on Manuel Pellegrini and some believe an embarrassing result today could lead to the Chilean gaffer’s sacking.
That being said, the Etihad outfit have the stronger track record from recent derbies, winning five of the last six and not losing since December 2012.
So who actually enters today’s fixture with the upper hand? Perhaps the starting Xis, officially confirmed on Twitter just moments ago, can shed some light on the issue.
