After nearly a decade at White Hart Lane, Tottenham favourite Aaron Lennon finds himself on loan at Everton for the remainder of the campaign.

The 27 year-old has already made seven Premier League appearances for the Goodison outfit since arriving in the late stages of the January window, scoring once, and starred in recent back-to-back wins over Newcastle and Queens Park Rangers.

With just over twelve months remaining on his current Spurs deal and clearly not in Mauricio Pochettino’s favour, the Lilywhites are expected to offload the former England international in the coming summer window and a permanent move to Merseyside seems the likeliest scenario.

Lennon however, who has made 364 appearances for Tottenham, claims he’s yet to discuss such a deal with Everton boss Roberto Martinez – as reported by the Liverpool Echo yesterday evening.

We’ve not looked or spoke about it,” Lennon informed the Mersey-based newspaper.

“All I am looking at is the next game and playing as well as I can and trying to help the team to win.

“As I say, we’ve not looked at it long-term, I am just here to try and help the team win and taking each game as it comes. I try and just work as hard as I can in each game and help the team win.”

He added: “I wasn’t playing at all (at Spurs) and all the lads and the gaffer have given me a lot of confidence so it is like a fresh start and I’ve just tried to give it 100% and give it everything I’ve got.”

Meanwhile, reports from The Telegraph claim the north London outfit will command £6million for the former Leeds youngster’s signature this summer.

Should Everton view such a fee unjustifiable, the likes of Stoke City and Hull City, who were both linked with Lennon at the end of the January transfer window – as reported by BBC Sport  and the Hull Daily Mail respectively – could decide to revive their interest.
