Dear Arsene,

When you joined Arsenal on 30th September 1996, I have to admit I didn’t know a lot about you. Nobody really did. I can remember the phrase ‘Arsene who?’ being used a lot. I soon learned who you were and was then pleased that Arsenal had hired you. Very quickly you made an impression at Arsenal and we finished a respectable 3rd in your first season.

The next season was a dream season for Arsenal fans, one of the most prominent seasons in my mind, in the last few weeks of the season we pulled back 13 points from Manchester United to win the league at Everton and we also went on to win  the F.A cup. It was my first double ever and I was so excited that we had actually won it.

The seasons that followed that were always full of beautiful football. Arsene, you bought the best players and you changed the way football was played. Players had stricter diets and regular body and mental checks to enable them to play for you. You had a knack and knowledge for finding the best players and building a team around perfect striker partnerships

You used your knowledge to create one of the best teams in England, and you were responsible for 3 League wins, 5 F.A Cups and in that, 2 doubles. You got us to a Champion League final against Barcelona, one of the best clubs in the world Yes, we lost but we got there and that’s what mattered. We competed every season and there was always ambition there. You wanted to win and you wanted to make Arsenal the best in the world.

Arsene you will always be remembered for what is my favourite footballing moment and that is ’The Invincibles’. That was amazing, you had the perfect team there, everyone adored each other and when that team walked on that pitch, they were a winning team, you could see it just by looking at them. Each and every player on that team deserved to be there and they were of the highest quality. They were your team Arsene. They used to come running up to you at the sidelines when they scored and there was an air of unity amongst team and manager. You made them and they made you, fully a team effort.

You were known as Le Prof for a reason. You deserved every bit of praise for what you have achieved at Arsenal in the past and you have achieved things other managers haven’t. But something went wrong after 2006. Was it moving from the majestic Highbury to The ‘Souless Bowl’ that is the Emirates? Or was it David Dein, your right hand man and close friend leaving the club? Kroenke’s investment? Did you lose focus on football because you were concentrating on finance?

SSYCOLOGICALLY (Psychologically) replace him with who? Guardiola? There is no Messi/Xavi/Iniesta combination at AFC right now, even if there is, the last time Guardiola takes a rest from futbol, he failed with the mighty trio.

I think its time for Arsene to throw in the towel and say goodbye to Arsenal fans. We have had enough of his ruse. We have younger coaches who posses the know how to play beautiful football, win trophies and still make huge profit. I can’t wait to have Pep Gaurdiola as the Gunners coach. One love

The problem wit wenger is that as soon as he sold the invisible team and saw MONEY and realize that more money could come from such venture, then his focus change from football to business and he started to do business. the truth of the mater is that wenger can not stop again,he now behave like a POKER MAN, to buy player is difficult for him, he will price the player and devalue the player. ALL THIS mind games in d transfer market doesn’t benefit ARSENAL status, Danba ba WAS sign for just 2 days no noise just 7MILLION wenger over look him for his fellow country man. The situation ARSENAL find itself IS PATHETIC.

  • akeem says:

We are only wasting our time because the man will never change his attitude is better to forget about the club for sometime until things are back to normal though who knows for how long because wenger and the board with their foolish attitude can give one hypertension

  • Sameric says:

I dont think it is d right time for wenger to go,many of u fans dont know wat ix going on inside d board and u are speaking as if,d fault is from wenger’s hand.THE BOARD IS D PROBLEM OF ARSENAL,NOT WENGER,if u want to know d truth click on dis website,www.arsenalboarduk.com.

  • s j little says:

Pathetic, Souless Bown, Useless Board, Boring pass-pass stuff, nothing exciting anymore, just Wenger passing half lies from day to day and insulting us, while that clown Hill-Wood justs sees us as Plebs.

  • s j little says:

By the way, who is the most uninspiring looking Manager on the touch line? Why Mr Wenger, of course, no wonder his team look so lost and forsaken of ideas!

  • Emeka says:

I blame d stupid fans paying there hard earn money on ticket to watch arsenal play

  • Well done, Wenger you will only love to be remembered for good things you did tnx but better leave and let the arsenal fans be happy and win a trophy.

  • Brighton says:

The problem here is that Wenger has got a big ego. He wants to make a record by winning the league and the champs league with the cheapest assembled team. For those of us who understand human behaviour, we know that achieving this fit will mean the world to Wenger. The question though is whether fans should be help ransom to Wenger’s personal desire or that he must balance the act here. We have suffered a lot and desperately need a trophy to boost morale. I am slowly getting tired of Wenger’s mind games, we are also intelligent and can discern trends, this talk of ” we will only buy if we get exceptional talent” is very frustrating because that is his mantra to say we not buying at all. Why are we too afraid of change?

  • Sadoro says:

No!!! Wait! Lets say the cause of the club in failure is Arsene but the must problem is the “BOARD” Arsene provides them the betterment they want and they leave the fans in bad mood. So ask the BOARD for what deserves on the pitch and lets wait nd see what will result out. Tnx.

  • I.P. of South Africa. says:

For at least the last 4 to 5 seasons during the transfer window we have heard our great manager, Professor Wenger, tell the world that he, (Arsenal), does not just buy good players but that he scouts the world for exceptional players. These “exceptional” players that Wenger bought are the likes of Gervinhio, Squillaci, Djouro, Giroud, Fabianski, Ramsey, etc. From these choices of Wenger it is abundantly clear that his “exceptional” does not relate to the player’s footballing ability, but his price and the player’s willingness to be indoctrinated by professor Wenger.
What a chaotic club our Arsenal has turned into under the professor!!!!!

  • vikinduku says:

arsene is outdated, he has to go before the whole structure collapses… he is the highest paid managwr in england, and third in the world but his tea. ssm has won zilch in the past five years. who sells a player like rvp for a mere 20m? cazorla was a decent buy, but the girouds, ppodolskis, gervinhos of this world r for struggling teams like west ham….
