Guardiola, Moyes or Mourinho? Style or substance

|

2013 is the most likely year Sir Alex Ferguson will gracefully retire after his illustrious career at Manchester United. One more PremierLeague title and a Champions League would most certainly make Sir Alex retire and go off into the sunset as the most successful British manager ever. Who can replace Sir Alex at Manchester United? Jose Mourinho has always been one of the candidates to replace the Manchester United manager because of his incredible success at every club. He’s a winner. Mourinho has instant success and has only ever built teams to win within 3-4 years and has never had any longevity at any club where he has brought through young players into the team, like Ferguson does.

David Moyes and Pep Guardiola are the two mangers who would fit the mould at Manchester United. Moyes has done incredibly well at Everton on a tight budget and builds new teams, like Ferguson, and makes them competitive every year without fail. Moyes would be a certainty for the Manchester United job if he had a trophy on his C.V because this would show not only does Moyes build teams, nurture young players such as Jack Rodwell and not to mention Wayne Rooney, he would be more than capable of replicating the job at Manchester United but with better players and a much bigger budget. Moyes is also only 49-years old and, if appointed as Ferguson’s successor, could easily spend the next 15 years at Manchester United and build teams to win. Ferguson is a great admirer of Moyes and his success at Everton, so is Sir Bobby Charlton who would much prefer Moyes as manager than Mourinho. Charlton even admitted Mourinho was a great coach but is not the man to replace Ferguson as he does not represent Manchester United.

Jose Mourinho is not the man to replace Sir Alex Ferguson once he retires? It would be foolish to rule out such a brilliant manager .David Moyes or Pep Guardiola would both be better suited at United. However,Mourinho is a winner that guarantees trophies and has success at every club he’s managed. So, surely, the man to replace Ferguson would be a winner that guarantees trophies? Would that name be Jose Mourinho? Or Guardiola, who is a winner, but with the graceful and stylish way that Manchester United demand. Any club with Mourinho, Guardiola or Moyes is guaranteed to be successful but the most important question is: how do Manchester United want to win? With style or with trophies.

Well they all have incredible CVs . It’s really too clos e a call to chose either. Mourning is excellent no doubt but can only flourish in a club with oil money that comes so easily, cheaply and with little accountability or hard work. Motes is too frugal a modern manager of an ambitious club such as MANU. Glazers may selfishly like him but that is surest rout to being caught up by Liverpool and SHEIkTY. Pep should go to sleep, he is not the reason why Barcelona have won all they did when he was there. At least the current coach has a better la liga statistic so far. The choice is therefore btw ole Gunner Sholser, Eric Cantona, Mark Hughes(temporarily ), or Roy Keane. Any of the above has the Red in him. Iam right am sure.
