Montpellier who last lifted a major trophy in 1990 are currently top of Ligue 1 by two points with five games to play. But with big spending PSG hot on their heels many predict Montpellier to falter. Can they stay the course or wil they fall at the last hurdle?

Sunday also sees Ajaccios bid to avoid the drop when they travel to an inform Rennes, while Saint-Etienne push for a Europa League spot.
Even though the top of the league is set nicely so is the bottom with Auxerre who sit bottom and are six points from safety. They take on18th place Brest in a six point relegation battle and fellow strugglers Souchaux face Bordeaux at home. At the moment things are very much in balance at the top and bottom of the League.
